Install OverPress Wordpress Theme

Uploading Theme

You can install the theme in two ways:

 


Setup Content and Theme Setting

For 1-click installation, make sure that your wordpress site is fresh installed. Don't write any post or change any setting

After install, go to admin > overpress > setting. then go to 1-Click Installation

Choose Dummy Content for Content field, and Default Theme Setting for Theme Setting then clcik Start Installation

you will see this warning message

If you haven't set up anything, just click the button. and it will replace all theme setting and set content.

Open theme options panel : admin > overpress > setting


Homepage

Header Style

You can choose header style, there are 3 options. Logo Only, Banner Only and Logo and Banner

Logo Text

The replacement for logo image

Logo

You can upload your logo here

Use Logo

Choose the kind of logo type that you want, text or image.

Favicon

You can upload your logo here or using external image link. Just copy and paste the link there. Make sure the image format is .ico

Banner

The image of banner


SEO

Activate

Activate SEO function in theme. Turn it off if you want to use any SEO plugin

Title

Default value for meta title

Description

Default value for meta description

Keywords

Default value for meta keywords


Slider

This set for slider

Show slider

Activate slider

Slider style

You can choos the slide style, the options are Full Slider, Slider and Form and Video. For video, it will only show the video from field video code

Video code

The video will show in the slider if the style is Video

Form for Contact Slider

Selected form will show in the slider if the style is Slider and Form


Footer and Analytic Code

For the footer section, you can upload an image for the logo, change copyright text and put analytic code


Compress CSS & JS

This setting will compress CSS or JS files into one file. It will reduce the loading time.
We suggest you to use WP minify for better result

You can set categories to show in blog page and set how many posts that will be shown

Selected form will show in contact page

The field is for address information

Phone

The field is for phone number

Email

The field is for email address

The website

The field is for google map code


Social

In this section, you can show or hide the option, if you choose to show the social link, it will appear with the icon and link


Maintenance

Maintenance Mode

This option will activate maintenance mode or not

Page Title

This field for page title text in header

Page Description

This field for page description in header

Countdown to date

The field for count down text. Make sure the format is YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS or it won't work right

Title

The field is for maintenance title text

Content

The field is for maintenance content text

Lead Gen Code

You can put any lead gen code like aweber, get response, facebook integration or anything you like

Social Links

This option will show or hide social link

Form builder : admin > overpress > form

You can build your own form for any purpose, as contact form, request or anything. In this management page, you are able to

- get the shortcode, you can copy and paste the shortcode into content editor. It will render the form inside the content automatically

- edit, edit form fields

- delete, delete the form


Form Field Management

In this area, you are able to :

- change the title, you can set form title

- add fields, you can add any custom field or text to the selected form


Text Field

- field ID, the ID will be unique, alphanumeric and hypen only. required

- label, the label field. required

- icon, the icon for the field. see icon list in others section for detail

- required, determine if the field is required or not

- error message, custom error message if there is wrong with the field. if the error message is left empty, system will use standard message ( [label] is must be filled in )


Email Field

- field ID, the ID will be unique, alphanumeric and hypen only. required

- label, the label field. required

- icon, the icon for the field. see icon list in others section for detail

- required, determine if the field is required or not

- error message, custom error message if there is wrong with the field. if the error message is left empty, system will use standard message ( [label] is not valid)


Select Field

- options, this field will generate value options from each line

- icon, the icon for the field. see icon list in others section for detail

Textarea Field

- field ID, the ID will be unique, alphanumeric and hypen only. required

- label, the label field. required

- icon, the icon for the field. see icon list in others section for detail

Paragraph

- field ID, the ID will be unique, alphanumeric and hypen only. required

- label, the label field. required

- editor, write down text here


Field Management

in this area, you are able to

- copy / duplicate any field

- edit field

- delete field

- order field by drag and drop


Email Management

This area has 2 sections, email editor and ID list

- Send email to, to whom the email will be sent. by default using admin email

- Subject, email subject. You can put any field ID here like name

- Message, email content. You can put any field ID here like name, message etc

- Send copy email to sender, you can choose if copy email will be sent or not

- Forward email, to whom the copy email will be sent. You can put any field ID here, especially email field

Manage slideshow : admin > overpress > slideshow

In this management area, you have ability to :

This is the editor. You can change title and content and the extra fields are

Tabs management is little different with other management, there is category for each tabs/accordions.

You can use it on shortcode

 

Page Builder is used for generating content for homepage.

for setting homepage on desktop, admin > overpress > homepage
for setting homepage on mobile, admin > overpress > mobile home

There are several blocks for generating contents

Column Block

Column block is used if you want columnize content. First drop column to drop zone and open it ( click on plus mark ). Then choose the block size drop block that you want

then choose the block you want and drop it inside column block


Text Block

The block is used for place text

it will show like this


Product Block

The block will generate content from Product ( admin > product )

Item Per Row

How many product will be listed per row

Total

Set total product listed, -1 to show all products

Special Block

The block will generate content from Special ( admin > special )

Item Per Row

How many special will be listed per row

Total

Main Block

The block will generate content from selected category, display address and sidebar

Translating Theme

What you need :

- qtranslate, plugin for wordpress. download here

- poedit, a software to translate. download here

After install and activate qtranslate in wordpress, install poedit and open it. Go to File > Open, browse to folder-theme > lang > id_ID.po. The PO file consists of indonesia translate. Open the file and then save the file as language what you want. For example french, then save it as fr_FR.po. If you want to know ID for your language, read this ISO Language Code. The first code must be lowercase and the secode, uppercase.

After you save the file as your language, then you can translate word by word

Don't forget to save it.

When you are done with translating, and want to use it in wordpress. Go to wordpress admin > settings > languages ( if you have activated qtranslate plugin ). you will see a form, and fill the form like this

and for field "Not Available Message", you can fill it with Sorry, this entry is only available in %LANG:, : and %, then click Add Language button. Your language will appear in table beside the form and enable it.
